San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.- Mauricio Trejo Pureco, the PRI candidate for the municipal presidency of SMA, reproduced almost verbatim a message from the campaign of former Argentine president Mauricio Macri, which has already been noticed on social networks at a national level.

Telefórmula news outlet presented the similarity between the two messages, only 6 years apart (Macri was on the campaign trail in 2015 and was president of Argentina from that year to 2019).

“To know a person, what he does is as important as what he is not willing to do, so I am going to tell you what I am not going to do: I am not going to look for enemies or pointless fights, I am not going to talk. , speak and not listen; I am not going to perpetuate myself in power, I am not going to persecute those who think differently, ”says Mauricio Macri before the camera.

While Trejo stated: “to know a person, it is very important to know what he is doing, but it is more important to know what he is not willing to do; I am going to tell you what I am not going to do: I am not going to seek re-election to perpetuate myself in power, I am not going to charge anyone, I am not going to change or destroy everything that has been done well, no I’m going to go after anyone who thinks differently from me ”.

Both characters speak to the camera in a medium shot and both have a musical background, although not the same. Trejo Pureco repeats exactly the ideas of not perpetuating himself in power and of not persecuting anyone who thinks differently, although he added a couple of other topics, the general idea is exactly the same.

Mauricio Trejo already has several videos on his social networks prior to the electoral campaign, where he criticizes the actions of the local government and calls them “those who are going to leave.” Even in one of them, he used the technique of the hypodermic needle to anticipate that his enemies would use slander and that they would meddle with his family to defame and dishonor him.

Well, it seems like Trejo has just “dishonored” himself by copying the former Argentine president’s speech.
