Mayor Mauricio Trejo Pureco highlighted the arrival of the prestigious Waldorf Astoria hotel in San Miguel de Allende, in the Cardo area.

San Miguel de Allende.- “The Cardo area will become an area of ​​great luxury and economic development with the arrival of the Waldorf Astoria hotel and the complementary works planned by the Rosewood hotel“, said Mayor Mauricio Trejo.

The president revealed that in a short time, he will travel to Chicago to sign the agreement.

He said that it is necessary to take care of that area because a few meters away is the Benito Juárez park “and there we will continue to hold our Candelaria fair and other traditional events.”

The mayor stressed that they want a hotel “that enhances the hotel quality and hospitality of San Miguel de Allende .”

He also pointed out that they want resorts that can be part of the festivities, festivals and traditions that exist in San Miguel de Allende and that when they need parking space, these would be willing to open those spaces to the public.

Trejo announced that the municipality will be monitoring the construction works every day, in order to respect the quality of life of the residents in that area.

The municipal president indicated that the opening of these hotels will promote the municipality worldwide, “our image will be more solid,” Trejo concluded.
