Municipal authorities found the lifeless body of a man, with traces of violence in San Miguel de Allende, so the vehicular passage that goes through the curtain of the Allende dam was closed to traffic on the morning of Friday, January 19th.
People passing by the place saw the body and reported it to the emergency number 911, Apparently the victim could had been murdered on Thursday night, because gun shots were reported in the area.
The body was left two meters away from the road, at the entrance to the community, lying on the ground, in front of a food stall.
Public security officers cordoned off the area to protect it until the arrival of representatives of the State Attorney General’s Office , who arrived shortly to collect the necessary evidence to open an investigation file.
The area, which is the highway that leads to the state capital Guanajuato, had to be closed to traffic for almost three hours, while experts and investigating agents collected evidence and testimonies.
