Donate hair to girls and women with cancer. These are the requirements in San Miguel de Allende.
Threads of Hope returns on January 14 in San Miguel de Allende. Join the noble cause by donating some of your healthy hair to make wigs for women with cancer.
San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.- The fourth edition of Threads of Hope will be held on January 14 at the Quinta Loreto Hotel and seeks to collect natural hair to make wigs for women with cancer.
This activation seeks to support girls and women with cancer and is organized by the Rotaract SMA Rotary group. The hair is used to make oncological wigs.
People interested in donating must have hair longer than 30 centimeters, not bleached or dyed, clean and completely dry, tied in a braid. Dyed, bleached, or layered hair can also be donated but must be a minimum of 40 centimeters braided from band to band.
The haircuts will take place on January 14 from 9:30 in the morning to 6:00 in the afternoon. Registration is required because the organizers will have support from professional stylists and it is necessary to know how many people they will serve.
Registrations can be made at https://linktr.ee/Rotaract.SMA
This group of Rotarians leads several campaigns during the year, such as donating blood, donating toys, cleaning the water lily in the Allende Dam, and promoting educational talks with specialists from different disciplines.
