The garbage problem persists in the San Miguel de Allende crafts market

Merchants at the San Miguel de Allende crafts market have expressed their concern about the accumulation of garbage at the entrance, affecting the urban image.

Traders at the craft market complained that people continue to leave garbage bags on the corner despite signs indicating precisely the opposite.

Those who leave the garbage have even removed the sign that specifically requested not to leave the bags there. The place is the entrance to the market, so it damages the urban image, especially because this site is highly visited by tourists who look for local crafts to take home as a souvenir from San Miguel de Allende.

The market merchants and business people have asked the municipal government to do something to prevent people from taking out their garbage there because dogs open the bags and leave garbage all over the place.

The garbage must be taken out to the street when the bell rings before the collection truck passes, to prevent the garbage from remaining on the street longer.
