San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, September 19, 2024.- The Guanajuato Health System organizes the 2nd “World Heart Day” Race in San Miguel de Allende.
The Municipal Sports Commission and the Cardiometabolic Diseases Program of Health Jurisdiction II invite the community to participate in the 2nd Race in commemoration of World Heart Day, which will take place on September 27 at the Zeferino Gutiérrez Park in the municipality of San Miguel de Allende.
The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will offer two modalities: a 5-kilometer race or a 3-kilometer walk/jog, promoting cardiovascular health and the well-being of participants under the motto: “Use your heart to act.”
Registration is free and will be open until one hour before the event, closing at 8:00 a.m.
The first 30 registrants will receive a t-shirt alluding to the event.

Free men and women in 5k and 3k.
Youth Men and women in 5k.
Health worker (accredited with work badge) in 5k and 3k.

The sports day will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a physical activation for all attendees.
At 9:00 a.m. The race will begin, followed by a Zumba class at 9:30 a.m., then a CPR workshop at 10:30 a.m., open to the entire population.
In addition, a poster and mascot contest will be held at 11:30 a.m., concluding the event with a closing ceremony at 12:30 p.m.
Considerations
Participants must wear a red shirt.
It is important to mention that runners will participate at their own risk, declaring that they are in good physical and mental health. The organizers are not responsible for accidents that may occur during the competition.
