SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE, GTO.- Authorities arrest two armed people in possession of 45 doses of crystal meth on the San Miguel de Allende-Doctor Mora highway.

The events occurred at 3:30 p.m. on January 14 on the San Miguel de Allende-Doctor Mora highway. Members of the Secretariat of Security and Peace detected a red Ford F150 truck with Tennessee, United States, license plates, which was driving erratically.

Germán N, 43 years old, and a woman, presumably a minor, became aggressive when they were asked to stop the car, so a security inspection was carried out.

Members of the Secretariat of Security and Peace found a 380-caliber firearm, 6 live cartridges, and a plastic wrapper with 15 grams of crystal meth, equivalent to approximately 45 doses.

The detainees and the items seized were placed at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) to determine their legal situation.

Operation Blindaje Guanajuato is part of the Operational Coordination strategy of the New Anti-Crime Intelligence Force (CONFIA).
