Donald Trump orders closure of the White House’s Spanish-language website

The new president of the United States was quick to make changes to the federal administration and erase all traces of Joe Biden’s government.

Donald Trump’s return to the presidency of the United States has been as controversial as expected, and not only because of the decrees related to migration, drug trafficking, terrorism, and the Gulf of America that he signed. In the morning, users noticed that the White House website and social networks in Spanish were shut down for good.

One of the most visible changes is the new White House website, which has a design completely inspired by Trump’s personality, and the Spanish version of the site no longer appears online because he ordered its closure. This is not the first time this has happened, since in 2017 during his first term, the Republicans took the same measure.

The page https://www.whitehouse.gov/es/ shows a 404 error and the legend “page not found” and redirects to the English version. The same situation occurs with the White House account in Spanish, X.

On his @POTUS account, there is a cover image with the legend “America is back” and below his signature with the number 47, which corresponds to his mandate in the history of that country.
