A man was arrested in San Miguel after being accused of kidnapping a woman and her baby against their will.
The incident was reported to the 911 system on Wednesday, January 22, indicating that two men had forced a woman to get into a green taxi, which did not have a license plate.
After activating security protocols, the vehicle was tracked through the C4 Operations Center’s video surveillance cameras. Finally, it was located on the José Manuel Zavala bypass, near the entrance to the Infonavit Malanquín neighborhood.
At the scene, the Municipal Police intercepted the taxi with the economic number 0355, from which two men got out, in addition to the woman and her baby.
One of the subjects, identified as Brayan “N”, was arrested after refusing to follow the officers’ instructions.
The woman identified the detainee as her ex-sentimental partner and stated that she was forced into the taxi with her son. She also mentioned that there were previous problems between the two.
The victim expressed her intention to file a formal complaint with the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Regional Prosecutor D.
