San Miguel de Allende, Gto.- Adolfo Salazar López is the new Commissioner of Citizen Security in San Miguel de Allende, after the appointment by Mauricio Trejo.
Salazar López has a degree in Law and has the Unique Police Certificate (CUP), endorsed by the Center for Evaluation and Control of Confidence of the State of Guanajuato, to perform this municipal position, based on specialized technical and professional knowledge, as well as experience within the public service in matters of security in the state of Guanajuato.
Prior to assuming this new position in San Miguel de Allende, Adolfo Salazar served, from 2012 to date, as Commissioner of Public Security in the municipality of San Felipe; also, from 2009 to 2012, he held this same position in the municipality of Silao.
In addition, from 1998 to 2009, in the Public Security Secretariat of León, he was: Coordinator of Crime Prevention Programs, Coordinator of the Social Environment area of C3, Coordinator and Promoter of the School Surveillance program and Coordinator of Personnel Improvements.
Part of his experience in the field is the coordination with the three levels of government in relevant mass events, such as: the inauguration of the Guanajuato Bicentennial Park, the coordination of monitoring, protection and support of Guanajuato Puerto interior, the macro mass in honor of the visit of Pope Benedict XVI and several editions of the World Rally Championship (WRC).
