A new airline is emerging in Mexico.

Aerala is the name of the new airline property of the former CEO of Interjet, which was set up in October of 2021 with the intention of providing passenger, cargo, parcel, and mail aerial transportation services.

Aerlala is headed by José Luis Garza Álvarez, former general director of Interjet. Service by this new airline is subject to concessions, permits, or authorizations from the federal government.

However, on October 26, 2021 Garza Álvarez and Salvador Ramírez Canizal created the new air carrier company with 10,000 shares, 9,000 owned by José Luis Garza Álvarez , former director and former CEO of Interjet.

In fact, the brand was registered last October by the company JLG Business Solutions, owned by Garza Álvarez too.

JLG Business Solutions, led by the former CEO of Interjet, requested the registration of six Aerala trademarks before the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI).

According to the applications filed by Aerala before the Instituto Mexicano de la Propiedad Industrial (IMPI), Aerala wants to offer airline transport services, as well as packaging and storage of goods and aerial routes within Mexico

The airline’s website remains under maintenance yet, saying that Aerala’s routes and services will be made available soon.

Among Aerala’s representatives, there is a number of former employees of Interjet, a company that ceased operations at the beginning of 2021.
