San Miguel de Allende once again shows the world its tremendous potential as a World-Class tourist destination.

San Miguel de Allende recognized not only as an international host but also as an award-winner in its own right, was once again the epicenter of excitement at this year’s edition of the North America’s 50 Best Bars 2024.

For the second time, this city, declared a World Heritage Site, hosted the prestigious gala that brings together the most prominent exponents of the bar and cocktail industry.

The event was imbued with a vibrant atmosphere and fierce competition, where Mexican bars from different regions of the country, including Oaxaca, Yucatán, Mexico City, Guadalajara, and many more, firmly maintained their place in the top 50.

In this edition, San Miguel de Allende shone with its own light by having one of its bars, Bekeb, located inside the Casa Hoyos boutique hotel, among the 15 best in Mexico. This is the first time that Bekeb entered the ranking, ranking number 27 internationally, thanks to its outstanding artisanal cocktail bar, which celebrates the authentic aromas and flavors of Mexico.

The event was a unique opportunity for more than 1,000 attendees of different nationalities to appreciate the richness and creativity of the bar scene in San Miguel de Allende. From reinvented classics to the most avant-garde creations, each establishment offered a unique experience that reflected the creativity and rich cultural diversity of the region.
