A man was reportedly killed inside his house; this is the second armed attack in the Independencia neighborhood in less than seven days.
A man was shot to death in the Independencia neighborhood, belonging to the municipality of San Miguel de Allende. This is the second case that has occurred in the neighborhood in less than a week.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, December 4, minutes before 5 p.m., gunshots alerted neighbors in the area, who reported to the emergency system without specifying the location of the events, as they say, that the shots were heard as far as the Alamedas subdivision.
Upon arrival of officers from the Citizen Security Secretariat, they detected that the attack took place on Francisco Javier Mina Street, a road that connects the main avenue of the Independencia neighborhood with the José Manuel Zavala Zavala bypass.
The now-deceased was attacked inside his home and, when the security and emergency bodies arrived, he no longer had vital signs, so the State Attorney General’s Office was notified to carry out the corresponding investigations and the removal of the body.
This is the second murder recorded in the Independencia neighborhood in less than a week. Last Saturday, a man traveling on a motorcycle was shot while riding on Francisco Lanzagorta Street, a few blocks from where the attack was recorded on Wednesday, December 4th.
