The meteorological authorities continue to predict high temperatures in Guanajuato — even higher than on many beaches in the country. The meteorological station Sapal reported up to 36 degrees Celsius between 3 and 5 pm Tuesday May 24.
Leon is among the cities where the highest temperatures are being recorded. In Celaya and Dolores Hidalgo they recorded 38 degrees Celsius, and it doesn’t stop there.
According to the Internet portal of the National Weather Service, while in Leon 36.03 degrees were recorded in the weather station located on the boulevard Torres Landa, at the height of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra in Campeche 39 degrees were recorded; Merida recorded 38 degrees; Villahermosa, Tabasco, 36 in Torreon, 36 and in Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, 34.
At the same time lower temperatures were recorded in the beach area; Leon, with 36 degrees compared with: in Cancun, 31 degrees; Los Cabos, 31; in Mazatlan, 32; Acapulco, 32 degrees; Manzanillo and Puerto Vallarta, 28 degrees.
Besides the heat of Leon is drier than the beaches where the breeze freshens.
The directors of the Conagua in Guanajuato reported that temperatures will remain high in most of the state.
