“Trash the dress”, also known as “fearless bridal” or “rock the frock”, is a style of wedding photography that contrasts elegant clothing with an environment in which it is out of place.
This is generally shot in the style of fashion or glamour photography. Such photography often takes place on a beach, but other locations include city streets, rooftops, garbage dumps, fields, and abandoned buildings.
Such was the case of Esmeralda Villela and Daniel Olalde from Queretaro, who chose San Miguel de Allende to Trash the Dress, because it is a stunningly beautiful colonial city.
The couple said that after a year and a half and decided to marry.
Esmeralda Villela, the glamorous bride, said that she will remember forever the Trash the Dress in San Miguel, because her dress looked worn-out and soiled by the rain.
Meanwhile, the groom Daniel Olalde, said they are very happy for the photoshoot, and after returning from their honeymoon on a cruise through Central America, they are enjoying their marriage.
Thus is that engaged couples can be seen in the streets of San Miguel de Allende dressed in wedding attire in photo shoots, trashing their dresses.
