During the Mexican Independence weekend (Sept. 15-18) five people were executed in the municipalities of Pénjamo and Comonfort, Guanajuato state.
On Saturday, September 17 an armed commando entered a hairdresser shop in the town of Vicente Guerrero, where they opened fire randomly, killing three and injuring seven; four of them seriously, including a minor, who were taken to Community Hospital in Comonfort, Guanajuato.

According to witnesses, the attackers escaped on the same vehicle, heading to the Celaya highway.
The personal information of the victims has not been made public by the local authorities.
Pénjamo
Meanwhile, in the community of “La Ermita”, municipality of Pénjamo, Daniel Rodríguez Torres was killed in a drive by shooting, by three armed men on board a van.

In addition, in the town of “Estación La Piedad”, neighboring to Michoacán, a man was shot in the head. Then, he was dismembered and his body parts placed in plastic bags, which were thrown near the premises of FAMAQ Company.
León
Meanwhile, the Attorney General of the State arrested four police officers of the Municipal Police of León, who were accused of murder. The agents killed a man, who was drinking on the street, beating him before taking to jail, where he died due to the injuries caused by police brutality.

This 44-year-old man was detained and taken to the police station in the early morning hours of September 8, and at 5 pm that day, the man started feel pain, so other inmates in the same detention facility alerted the warden. The indiudual was rushed to the infirmary where hw died minutes later.
The autopsy confirmed that the victim died from the beating, for that reason, the Attorney General issued arrest warrants against them.
Members of the Criminal Investigation Agency completed the capture of the Preventive Police officers, who were taken to the control judge of the accusatory system, accused of homicide.
In this regard, the Ministry of Public Security in Leon reported that they cooperated at all times with the attorney general’s office providing all required elements, such as shift records, videos, medical certificate, etc.
