On Sunday, Sept. 18, the Bo & Co Jewelry store, located inside “Plaza Galerías Querétaro” shopping mall, was robbed, causing an intense police mobilization to try to locate the criminals.

According to initial police reports, two people commited the robbery, although later on, it was presumed that more subjects were involved.

The incident occurred just minutes before closing time, when the criminals took security personnel and employees by surprise, threatening them at gun point and using heavy objects to smash the shop window’s glass to take the jewelry.

This exclusive jewelry store is located on the ground floor of the mall, so once the subjects committed the robbery, they were able to flee the scene on foot, heading straight to the parking lot, from where they escaped allegedly using motorcycles and vehicles, heading towards the Querétaro – Celaya highway.

Municipal Public Security and State Police officers arrived to the shopping mall in order to gather information and start the proper investigation, they mentioned that the operation will continue in the direction of Celaya, where criminals allegedly headed.
