Ricardo Villareal underlined that: “tourism practices have helped San Miguel to become a successful vacation destination”.

He continued: “Among those practices are: the appointment of a Citizen Tourism Council, which consults all service providers and tourism business people to come up with a plural consensus, in which the authorities involve the private sector in important decisions”.

“On the other hand, the infrastructure created seeks to boost the economy and improve the tourism industry with better services and facilities. In that sense, our government has developed a series of projectss, such as parking lots, Visitor Services Centers, new national and international flights to and from the Guanajuato International Airport, communication with our business partners, along with other works with the purpose to receive a larger number of visitors each and everyday”, Villareal added.

“This magazine is recognizing all this work and is an incentive to keep up with the hard work to build a better city for visitors, but especially for all citizens that live in the municipality of San Miguel de Allende” concluded the Mayor.
