A two-year-old girl named Aelin was found inside a bag next to a building under construction at “Sarabia” community in the municipality of Villagrán, Guanajuato.
Following the discovery of the body, officers of Specialized Homicide Investigation Unit, Judicial Experts, and Coroners Personnel arrived at the crime scene, in order to conduct a thorough forensics investigation.

So far, it is known that the child had bruises on her face, and she was apparently strangled.
The girl’s mother and a man arrived on Sunday, October 30 to leave her other three-year old daughter at her mother’s house, where the grandmother was going to babysit.
However, when the grandmother asked them about little Aelin, the couple did not respond, and minuts later left the house in a hurry.
At this point, the mother and the man (who is allegedly her boyfirend), are the main suspects of this tragic crime, although the investigation is still in progress.
Unofficially, it is also known that both children were beaten by this couple, who apparently consume drugs and alcohol, according to their nextdoor neighbors testimony.
