León hits record temperatures, as low as 3 degrees Celsius

In the morning of Wednesday December 07,  record low temperatures were recorded in the city of León, Guanajuato.

Sapal’s weather stations reported 3.4 degrees at 6.30 am in the south-west area, in the surroundings of “La Joya”.

While at the “Explora Park area”, authorities reported 4.5 degrees at 7 in the morning.

The Guanajuato Produce Foundation (Fundación Guanajuato Produce) reported that temperatures in the Sierra de Santa Rosa and Sierra de Lobos are below zero degrees and they will keep dropping in the coming days.
