SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE, Gto .- Mexican Army’s officers of the “XV zone” based on San Miguel de Allende enjoyed a Christmas celebration that was prepared by San Miguel de Allende municipal authorities.
In recognition to the work they have done in collaboration with the Municipal Police, that has helped to lower crime rates in San Miguel and surrounding areas. It was through the Secretariat of Public Security, that the celebration was organized.
Ricardo Benavides, head of the unit, expressed his congratulations to the military and on behalf of the mayor, Ricardo Villarreal, granted them a recognition for fulfilling their duty and serving the country.

“I invite you to spend this special day in a pleasant way after living an intense year of work and joint efforts. I know it is difficult to celebrate this date without the family, but the Nation will thank all of you and your families, for your great effort and sacrifice,” said the secretary.
Benavides also urged them to continue providing security to the residents of San Miguel, in coordination with the municipal police.
