In this holiday season, the state of Guanajuato remains as one of the 11 states of the country without restrictive recommendations for citizens from the United States to travel across the Mexican territory.

It was released by the State Public Security Secretariat, who reported that for the second time in 2016, the United States Government did not consider the state as hazardous for tourists in their Travel Warning Update issued 5 days ago.

The U.S. State Department updated the Travel Warning for Mexico on December 8, 2016, in order to make known that the state of Guanajuato is an absolutely safe tourist destination.
