Ricardo Villarreal, Mayor of San Miguel de Allende, attended the inauguration event of this celebration that has already become a tradition in the city.
“It is very important that we instill in our young generations the cultural values of appraising our natural resources and taking care of the environment in order to work together to save our planet,” declared Ricardo Villareal.
Mayor Villarreal stressed that this is one of the most important fairs throughout the year for San Miguel, as it generates a significant economic spill for the municipality.
In addition to this festivity, several cultural events aimed at protecting the environment will be taking place at “Parque Juárez”, where hundreds of San Miguel residents, as well as national and foreign tourists come to enjoy and be part of these activities.
