According to León’s news website am.com.mx, dozens of demonstrators in the city of León beat up two drivers from the Integrated Transportation System (Sistema Integrado de Transporte, SIT), vandalized two public transportation vehicles called caterpillars (Orugas), and partially destroyed bus stops and fuel stations on Tuesday January 3rd, 2017.

Then, the group of protesters headed towards the “Presidencia Municipal“, where they clashed with police officers outside the City Hall building, and tried to break in, but were stopped.
