University of Guanajuato pays 100,000 pesos to rent a TV screen

GUANAJUATO, Gto. (OEM-Informex)- Despite the fact that the University of Guanajuato is supposed to be currently conducting an analysis to create a retirement fund and how many pensions must be granted, the institution was harshly criticized through social networks, due to a report from the Transparency Unit of the Institution, which informed that the rental of a LED screen used during Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino’s first annual activities report, had a cost of 100,000 pesos (5,000 USD).

According to this file, the copany known as Fusión Audiovisual, provided a service of a LED screen with a size of 10 x 4 meters, a P 3.92 mm resolution, with a total cost of 92 thousand 800 pesos (approx. 5,000 USD).

Besides, during the event other screens were used. However, the costs and and names of service providers are unknown. In this regard, the Transparency Unit reported: “So far, the Secretariat for Management and Development and the Directorate of Infrastructure and University Services have not provided information”.

The report also states that the companies known as Grupo Produce and Play Producción, also participated in the public bid.

According to information from Fusión Audiovisual, this company is registered since December 2014 with the number 1159795, under the economic activity of rental of machinery and commercial equipment, with activity code (SCIAN) 532493, from the Industrial Classification System.

According to this report, the company currently has 10 employees, and its address is in León de los Aldama, Guanajuato.
