Despite the cancellation of four “star” guests, CONQUE, one of the most important comic and entertainment conventions nationwide, took place in Querétaro, gathering almost 50,000 fans from May 4 to 7.

Jimmy Palmiotti, American writer of stories such as “Deadpool” and “Harley Quinn”; Alberto Montt, originally from Chile, comedian, artist and creator of the graphic novel “Achiote”; Amanda Conner, DC comics writer and artist featuring her new project by Harley Quinn, and Mark Brooks, current illustrator of Star Wars (Han Solo), did not make the appointment, situation that was announced only one day before the event’s inauguration.

These cancellations caused the indignation and disappointment of dozens of fans that expressed their anger on social networks, while the company reported that due to “causes outside Conque’s control, the “starters” could not make the event. However, the attendance was unexpectedly tremendous during the four days that the congress lasted.
