A delegation from the state of Querétaro headed by the State’s Governor, Francisco Domínguez Servién, will make a working tour from June 17 to 27, throughout different cities of France and Germany aimed at attracting dozens of investments to the state.
During the tour, the governor will meet with twelve to fifteen company directors that are very interested on establishing their businesses in Querétaro.
Marco del Prete Tercero, State’s Secretary of Sustainable Development, declared: “An important meeting will take place in the Mexican embassy in France, gathering personnel from “ProMéxico”, the Industrial Development Bureau, the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (Canacintra) along with governors from other states of the country such as Querétaro”.
In fact, this group will set up a stand at the International Paris Air Show, where several Mexican states and “ProMéxico” will be able to offer investment opportunities for business development in our country.
Querétaro representatives will meet with entrepreneurs of the French Confederation of Employers (MEDEF) and afterwards, they will participate in the Hannover Fair 2017 in Germany, one of the most important international automotive events in the world, where they will meet with the organizers.
During this event, the governor and the secretary, Marco del Prete, will conduct meetings with different companies.
Finally, on Monday June 26, Domínguez Servién will meet with executives of a company that intends to settle in Querétaro and will participate in a seminar in Berlin aiming to promote the state.
Marco del Prete detailed that the Querétaro delegation will visit companies that are already settled in the state and others that project new investments in the automotive, aeronautic and manufacturing sectors.
“It is necessary to realize that many companies that are in Germany are not in the big cities and that is why the possibility of visiting potential investors is limited. We will be concentrating our efforts in Berlin to be able to contact the largest number of companies possible, in order to establish communication with as many participants as possible in both fairs”, said the state official.
