The head of the state’s Office of Tourism and International Affairs announced the opening of a new store focused on the sales of handcrafts and traditional souvenirs, located at the “Rosalío Solano” movie theater, in the municipality of Querétaro.

Next August 2017, dozens of tourists will be able to go shopping at the official souvenir shop in the city of Querétaro. The municipal administration runs this store, through the Office of Tourism and International Affairs, and will make an investment of $800,000 pesos (44,000 USD), for this new commercial space and inventory.

According to Esther Carboney Echave, the establishment will be located next to the Cineteatro “Rosalío Solano” and “Manos Queretanas” in the historic downtown area of Querétaro.

There are thirty different ‘souvenirs’ that will be sold in the store, mostly ceramic figures of the most representative monuments and sites of the city of Querétaro such as: the Theater of the Republic and the Aqueduct.
