On Tuesday, August 1, a delegation from the municipal government of Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur visited San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato as part of the twinning of the colonial city with the beach destination of Los Cabos.
Celestino Atienzo, president of the Commission for Tourism and Sister Cities, informed that the Los Cabos Delegation will stay in San Miguel from August 1 to 4, days in which they intend to work on a common agenda that will address cultural, sports and tourism issues.
“It is very important for Los Cabos to settle an economic link with the city of San Miguel, that’s why we came to work on this bilateral agenda”, Atienzo said.
As reported on the San Miguel Times, a couple of months ago the municipality of Los Cabos received a delegation from the city of San Miguel de Allende, so now it was time for Los Cabos authorities to come down to San Miguel, where the twinning monitoring committees will be formed.
