Multinational General Electric opens innovative digital center in Querétaro

Mexico, Aug. 24 (Notimex).- General Electric inaugurated its new Digital Customer Care Center in Querétaro, as part of their their new strategy to serve the Latin American market.

The director general of the Advanced Engineering Center, Vlatko Vlatkovic, said that in these new facilities customers are offered a digital experience to control their power plants, either to improve existing ones or build a new one.

“Any customer will have the opportunity to take a real-time look at the technology that operates at their plants and through sensors, algorithms and predictive analytics,” he said.

As well as developing an early and comprehensive view of the future behavior of critical assets, but also the ability to develop the vision of the entire operation of the company, even when it does not yet exist.

The company said in a statement that this new center will be able to test all the digital solutions that General Electric (GE) has developed in recent years to improve the operation efficiency and for the monitoring of power plants.

“This is an innovative experience that is already revolutionizing the way GE relates to its customers and responds to their needs. A kind of “crystal ball” based solely on technology and teamwork.”

Energy Under-Secretary Emilio Hernández Ochoa stated that “with the opening of this Digital Center, GE is positioning itself within the value chain of the electricity sector and allows to transform the electricity industry through the joining of resources”.
