The third quarter of this year is historic for Guanajuato in terms of job creation, since the figure in this period exceeds the records of the last two decades!
According to the organization Mexico, ¿Cómo vamos?, the State registered 64,610 new jobs, which means an increase of 15%, in relation to the same period in 2016, when it reached 56,172 jobs.
Mexico, ¿Cómo vamos? pointed out that the State estimated to generate 42,825 jobs at the end of the third quarter, an expectation that was exceeded with an increase of 50% in the total of working positions.
It is estimated that from October to December this year, Guanajuato will surpass the number of registered jobs in 2014, when more than 67,604 direct jobs were created.
On the other hand, the informal-job rate in Guanajuato also registered an increase of 1.2%, reaching 52.9% during the second quarter of the year, surpassing the 51.7% reached in the same period of 2016.
