PRD leader Alejandra Barrales owns mansion and apartment in Miami

The national leader of the PRD, Alejandra Barrales, lives in luxurious Lomas de Chapultepec Mexico City uptown  neighborhood, in a property she acquired in 2014, worth 13 million 300 thousand pesos (approximately $700,000 USD).

According to El Universal, in the property declaration that the PRD introduced in 2015 to the Senate, Barrales reports that the house was acquired on August 14, 2014 by means of a bank loan.

Barrales explained to El Universal that, in order to buy that house, she sold her old residence, near the Parque Hundido, Colonia San José Insurgentes whereby, according to the documents of 3de3, she was paid 7 million 473 thousand 427 pesos, which served as an advanced payment for the Lomas house.

And to cover the rest of the total amount, Barrales acquired a 30-year mortgage loan in 2015, with BBVA Bancomer for 4.9 million pesos and collected retirement insurance for one million 286 thousand 291 pesos.

The income amounted to 13 million 751 thousand 828 pesos, enough to cover the total amount of the house in Lomas de Chapultepec.
