On Thusday November 16, around 8 o’clock in the morning it was reported to the emergency system 911, that the top of a vehicle was visible inside the Presa Allende, near Natura.
Municipal Civil Protection, Municipal Police, Red Cross and personnel of the Public Ministry immediately arrived onsite.

In a joint work between Civil Protection Divers and Firefighters, a rescue team entered the water where they were able to hook the car to a crane in order to drag it out of the dam.

As the red Ford Explorer SUV was out of the water it was confirmed that a dead body was inside.
Public Ministry staff opened the corresponding file and moved the body, apparently a male, to Forensics Office (Semefo) to conduct the authopsy and determine the identity of the deceased.
