Remebrance and beyond: a Holocaust Commemoration event in SMA

On Wednesday January 17, 2018, a Holocaust Commemoration event will take place at 7 PM at Centro Cultural “Ignacio Ramírez” el Nigromante, also known as Bellas Artes, as part of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, in memory of the Victims and the liberation of the Nazi Concentration Camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau.

 

Marcos Moloeznik, Ph.D. Professor-Researcher in the Political Sciences Department at the Center of Social Sciences and Humanities of the University of Guadalajara (Mexico) has been invited to host this event, which will include a candle-lighting to honor the six million Jews and others who perished during the Holocaust.

Dr. Marcos Moloeznik will be presenting a chapte from the series “Auschwitz, the Nazis and the Final Solution” produced by the BBC London.

The event is open to the public, this is a non-religious event.

Admission fee: Members $150 / Nonmembers $200 pesos
