“The more than two years that I have been at the head of the municipal presidency have been the most satisfying working and professional years of my life. I’ve had the opportunity to build a better city always with the support of  my family and my great working team; and I am convinced that we are delivering positive results for the people of San Miguel de Allende at the end of this term, “said the mayor.

He assured that four thousand people who used to live in extreme poverty in San Miguel de Allende, have a better quality of life today, according to data published by Coneval.

Villarreal said he is convinced that he has a very clear idea of where to go from here, and that he accepts there are still a lot of things to do, but the only way to do them is by having continuity, in order to move forward.
