Woman attacked with tear gas during election day in SMA

San Miguel de Allende, Sunday July 1st.- On Calle 1ero de Mayo of the Ignacio Ramírez neighborhood, there was a brawl in which 5 people were involved, 3 of them, apparently belonged to MORENA and got arrested for assaulting the other two.

The assaulted ones, representatives of the PAN political party, were sprayed with tear gas and punched in the face by the attackers.

According to the victims, the agressors, a man and a woman, tried to snatch from them the package with the names of the voters.

Municipal Police agents conducted a search operation and located the alleged attackers and transferred them to the municipal detention facility.

Red Cross paramedics provided prehospital care to a woman, who said she was attacked with tear gas, but she did not want to be transferred to the General Hospital.
