Cannabis culture and green paraphernalia promoted at “Oktoberweed” Mérida

On October 27 and 28, Cáñamo Mérida coffee offers the Yucatecans two days of cannabis culture and German food at “Oktoberweed 2018”.

To learn more about the different uses of hemp, at Oktoberweed there will be food, lectures, live music, tasting, vegan snacks, culture stands and other pot related paraphernalia.

One of the star dishes of the festival will be the Knödel, a typical German dish, consisting of hemp bread dumplings and sativa milk, one hundred percent vegan. There will also be cookies and ice sativa ice cream. Live music feature reggae and rock groups.

There will also be Rodrigo Domenzain, founder of Agropot, an online store to sell legal cannabis and its derivatives from Canada. He will talk about the situation in that country since the recent legalization of marijuana for recreational use.

Tickets:

  • 159 pesos: includes general admission to the two days with a saucer and beer tasting organized for the occasion.
  • 39 pesos for the two days with the right to enter the presentations and exhibition of stands.
