The Live Aqua Urban Resort hotel opened its doors in San Miguel de Allende becoming the most innovative lodging option in San Migel.

The hotel has 153 rooms; and it is Grupo Posada’s number 11 property in the state of Guanajuato. Posadas is one of  the leading hotel operators in Mexico. The property is the fifth of the Live Aqua brand in the country and the first in San Miguel de Allende.

In the presence of Teresa Matamoros Montes, Secretary of Tourism of Guanajuato; José Carlos Azcárraga, CEO of Posadas, spoke during the opening ceremony: “this great opening fills us with pride. Live Aqua is a reality today and we are ready to welcome our guests in this magical city. ”

With an investment of more than 35 million US dollars, the hotel generates more than a thousand direct and indirect jobs in a city that has become the Hot Spot of Mexico thanks to its colonial beauty, kindness of its people, delicious cuisine, culture and its amazing architecture.

Live Aqua Urban Resort SMA is consolidated as the largest hotel in this city, capable of providing its visitors with unique sensorial experiences, and featuring spectacular spaces for events, amenities and an outstanding gastronomic offer.

The construction of the project was in charge of Asset construction company, while the office AoMa was responsible for the architectural coordination, making it an avant-garde space with the subtle touch of a splendid colonial past.

Luis Alberto Villareal, Municipal President of San Miguel de Allende, was also present at the inauguration; Roberto Galante, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fibra Hotel; Alberto Galante, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fibra Hotel. Simón Galante, CEO of Fibra Hotel; Eduardo López, General Director of Fibra Hotel; Enrique Calderón, Vice President of Hotel Operations of Grupo Posadas; Jorge Carvallo, Vice President of Development of Grupo Posadas; Javier Barrera, Vice President of the Posadas Franchise; and Pablo Rodríguez, President of the Santa María del Obraje Cultural Center.
