Two men were found on the road San Miguel – Jalpa on Wednesday Feb. 13th, one was dead and the other one seriously wounded.
The report was made to the emergency system 911 minutes after 7:00 in the morning, indicating the discovery of two bodies lying on the side of the road near an abandoned farm.
The road to the community of Jalpa is located on the San Miguel de Allende-Querétaro highway and the farm is about 300 meters from the road.
When the Public Security agents arrived at the place, they found two men, one was injured and the other did not have vital signs, both were handcuffed and wrapped in blankets.
The paramedics treated the wounded man, who presented bruises and several blows to the body and transferred him to a hospital. He declared that on Monday Feb. 11, he was in Dolores Hidalgo with the deceased whom he identified as Juan Alejandro “N”, nicknamed “El Furris”; when several men suddenly appeared in two vehicles, kidnapped them at gun point, beat them up, kept them captive for two days and finally abandoned them on the road to Jalpa, where they were located.
Criminal investigation agents as well as Expert Services personnel also arrived to the site, and began collecting evidence to open the corresponding investigation file, in order to find those responsible for the homicide. So far, no arrests have been made in relation with this crime.
