Social media users mercilessly mocked consumers who bought a beloved Mexican candy called pulparindo, which is made of tamarind, sugar, and chili, on Amazon, after they complained the candy was covered in mold…but it turns out it’s powdered sugar! The candy is sprinkled with powdered sugar to prevent it from sticking to the wrapping.

This social media user documented the complaints on Amazon.

Other social media users posted memes mocking the confused buyers
The pulparindo official account also chimed in, explaining the ingredients used the make the candy
Meanwhile, candy connoisseurs will keep on enjoying this Mexican delicacy.
