SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE, Gto.- (OEM-Informex) .- Around 11:30 pm on Wednesday May 29th, a report was received to the emergency number 911, about a couple attacked near a bar located in San Miguel de Allende’s Colonia Luis Donaldo Colosio.
Municipal police officers confirmed the violent act by securing the area and closing one of the lanes of the Libramiento Manuel Zavala, while the victims, who were still alive, were transferred to the hospital by Red Cross paramedics.
The male, approximately 23 years of age, presented bullet wounds on the chest, while the female, approximately 24 years old, had an exposed fracture in one of her legs, until now their identities are unknown.
Unofficially it was mentioned that the violent episode began inside the bar, and then gun shots were fired outside the establishment.
Police officers found several empty shells on the street, and they secured a white truck, which had several bullet impacts on the windshield.
The corresponding authorities have not provide further information on the subject, and no arrests have been made so far in relation to this
incident.
