Former President and Guanajuato resident Vicente Fox began a campaign on social networks to summon citizens to a march against Andrés Manuel López Obrador on Sunday June 30th.
From his Twitter account, Fox began to list several problems that the country is currently facing, such as a huge rise on the murder index, immigration issues or atypical consultations proposed by López Obrador on the “revocation of mandate”, which are some of the reasons why the former president is telling the general public that it is absolutely vital to protest and attend the march.
Through social networks the call has been made to demonstrate in different cities of the 32 Mexican states.
In the case of Mexico City, the meeting point for the mobilization is the Monument to the Revolution at 11:00 am on Sunday June 30.
It is worth mentioning that the march will take place just one day before the one year anniversary of the presidential election won by Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who is also inviting the general public to Mexico City’s Zócalo to celebrate the date.
