Everything is ready for the San Miguel Fair 2019

San Miguel de Allende.- The cultural artistic program of the festivities of the municipality, ‘San Miguel de la gente 2019’, which includes presentations in the village theater, artistic exhibitions, video mapping projections, is ready.

With events from September 7 to October 6, the cultural, festive and identity work of the people of San Miguel will be honored and recognized.

The party starts early
The events of September 15 begin early, with the delivery of Symbolic Fire to the delegations of the different municipalities and states, which leave from the home of General Ignacio Allende, in downtown SMA.

Then there will be a live broadcast from the Plaza de Armas de Querétaro, to follow the act of fellowship between these two cities, recalling the historical fact of the Independence conspiracy.

During the night the Libertarian Fire will be light up in the center of the city, followed by the celebration of the cry of Independence. At the end, there will be a pyro-musical show, a mariachi festival, and the projection of a ‘video mapping’ in the old Plaza de Armas and in the parish of San Miguel Arcángel, at 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. respectively.

All attractions with one single ticket
The Los Caballos company is responsible for the development of the fair this year; César Larrondo informed that access to the fair will cost 40 pesos and will include all the rides, circus and theater in town, except on September 22, 26 and October 6, which will cost 100 pesos with the presentation of Edwin Luna with La Trakalosa de Monterrey and Saúl ‘El Jaguar’, Gerardo Ortiz, Banda El Recodo and Los Cardenales de Nuevo León; (There will be free admission for children under 80 centimeters tall, senior citizens and people with disabilities).

The poster of the fair includes groups and soloists such as La Sonora Santanera, Laureano Brizuela, Banda Machos, Mi Banda El Mexicano; Los Ángeles de Charly, The TRI of Álex Lora, Los Tucanes de Tijuana and Pancho Uresti; The Sonora Dinamita and more.

In addition, two bullfights will be held next September in the Plaza de Toros Oriente: the traditional bullfight of Sep. 15 and The Alborada, on Sep. 27.

Mayor Luis Alberto Villarreal informed that from Monday, September 2, the Municipal DIF will be in charge of the private parking of the Cardo with a rate of $ 20 pesos per hour and $ 100 pesos per full day.
