San Miguel de Allende.- A group of local women has made a call through social networks to a peaceful feminist march on Saturday August 24, at 5:00 pm, starting from the Juarez Park towards the Jardín Principal.

All women in San Miguel are invited to go to raise their voice to demand justice, but without violence or damaging any monuments of this world heritage city.

According to the announcement, the march will take place not only with the purpose of raising awareness about Mexico’s patriarchal system and to eradicate gender violence, but also be to create a support and trust network for all women in the country.

“We will raise our voice so that we can all show ourselves strong, to become more united, feel free, do not fear, generate links and continue the struggle, We want justice! We are not alone, together we are more.” (Facebook page)
