This Wednesday April 8, the doctor finally arrived in Germany, on a German government flight, as announced by Francisco Garay, director of Economic Development, International Relations, who spoke with Yuriria Vélez herself, confirming her arrival in Germany , after flying from Kathmandu, Nepal, to Doha, Qatar; and from there. to Munich, Germany.
Since March 9, Dr. Yuriria Vélez García has been in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. On March 12, the borders were closed and it was the afternoon of Monday, March 30, when her mother, Lourdes García, posted on social networks that her daughter was practically stranded in Nepal.
When the situation became public, the municipal government of San Miguel de Allende, through Juan Hernández, head of the Migrant Secretariat in the state of Guanajuato, arranged before the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to facilitate the repatriation, at the express instruction of the Municipal President Luis Alberto Villarreal García, who spoke on March 31 with Dr. Yuriria’s mother, to express “all his support”.
This Thursday, April 9, at 11:50 a.m., Yuriria will fly from Munich to Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to board the connecting flight to Mexico City, where she will arrive around 20:10 local time. This was confirmed by the the Mexican Ambassador to India, Federico Salas.
