San Miguel de Allende.- Painting, sculpture, and crafts from locals and residents, were auctioned by the San Miguel de Allende Red Cross on Saturday, October 17. There were more than 80 pieces offered in person and through social networks; the obtained resources will be used to continue operating.

It will be the first art and crafts auction to benefit the institution. This initiative already has a catalog in which interested parties can find enough information such as specifications of works, portraits of the artists, the start of the bid, questions and answers, certificates of authenticity, among other information.

In addition, each piece is discounted by 30% of the gallery price.

The face-to-face auction will be reduced to 30 people — with sufficient sanitary measures. To physically review art and crafts, prior to the start of the auction (which began online on October 15 and ended on October 17), these were located at the La Aurora Art and Design Center, section B-local 4.

The municipal government with the Directorate of Culture and Heritage supports this initiative so that the Red Cross can obtain economic resources to continue operating.

The San Miguel de Allende Red Cross needs you, please contribute with this important initiative.
