The new transport routes in San Miguel de Allende will improve mobility towards the upper part of the municipality.

San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.- The Department of Transportation extends the route of routes 2, 3 and 28 so that students, parents and passengers in general improve their mobility towards the upper part of the municipality. It will be from Monday and the objective is to reach the university area.

The public service will reach the campuses of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the Sanmiguelense Institute, the University of Professional Development (Unidep), and the Technological University of San Miguel de Allende (Utsma).

Specifically, route 2 will now depart from the Center for Technological, Industrial and Services Baccalaureate (CBTis 60), route 3 will leave from the Insurgentes neighborhood and route 28 will start from the La Esmeralda subdivision.

This extension does not alter the route already established and maintains the fixed schedules, which will allow young people from San Miguel and their parents to reach the university area more easily and quickly.

Those workers, students, and teachers who use these means of transportation will have to walk a much shorter distance from the point where they get off the bus to the entrance of the universities.
