After María Elena Ríos accused Tenoch Huerta of alleged abuse, and he responded claiming that they had a consensual relationship, the saxophonist spoke up again to say that the actor’s statements are false.
In a post, she stated that she would take legal action to protect her image and that she is currently promoting a law to ensure that women who are victims of violence have access to justice.
“Today, I cannot respond calmly to your statement because, as you may know, I am promoting a LAW for women violated by abusers, cowards, and power-hungry individuals to have access to justice and not live in fear, like the fear that you and your fans are trying to instill in me,” she wrote.
Along with her message, Ríos shared screenshots of messages from users who degrade her appearance and threaten her.
Following the saxophonist’s accusation, actress Fernanda Tosky stated that she had a negative experience with Huerta, and illustrator Sofia Weidner claimed that the actor exploits women by leveraging his power and fame.
