Mauricio Trejo Pureco promised that this year the Allende dam will be free of lilies.
The PRI candidate for the municipal government announced that this was one of the agreements after meeting with fishermen and residents of nearby communities.
“This weekend we met with some of the fishermen who are on the shore of the dam and there I had the opportunity to tell them what had been done as of March 31 by the Municipal Presidency with the lily issue,” said the PRI candidate in a video.
He assured that the issue of the lily corresponds to the National Water Commission, “but as of March 31, the presidency had not ignored it.”
He announced that after the aforementioned meeting, it was agreed that when people did not see the machines working, it was because they were on the other side of the dam.
“It was also agreed that in the next three years, we will work together so that this year we can have the dam completely clean of the lily and after that, together we can maintain it so that this plant does not proliferate again,” Mauricio Trejo promised.
