The firm Travel + Leisure once again distinguished itself for its tourist attractions and maintaining a culture open to visitors.
San Miguel de Allende once again received the distinction of Best City in the World from the international firm Travel + Leisure; this designation considers characteristics such as its culture, and tourist attractions, among others.
The mayor of this municipality, Mauricio Trejo Pureco, traveled to the United States to receive the distinction, which while it was being awarded, the Electoral Court of the State of Guanajuato (TEEG), validated his reelection to the position.

The event was held in New York City, where municipal authorities also had the opportunity to present San Miguel de Allende as a destination for gastronomic and wedding tourism, as well as a tour with the media.
